The 55th Nerja Caves International Festival of Music and Dance starts on Saturday the 19th of July 2014 with a concert by Nuria Fergó & Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga on the Balcon de Europa at 10pm (free entrance). This is followed by three more nightly free concerts on the Balcon, with the Cave performances starting on Wednesday the 23rd of July 2014.
Sunday 20th of July 2014 – Balcon de Europa – Iñaki Fresán & Coral Alminares – 10pm Free entrance.
Monday 21st of July 2014 – Balcon de Europa – Ara Malikian & Fernando Hurtado Dance Company – 10pm Free entrance.
Tuesday 22nd of July 2014 – Balcon de Europa – Nerja Municipal Band – 10pm Free entrance.
Wednesday 23rd of July 2014 – Nerja Caves – Quirin Ensemble – 10pm Ticketed Entrance
Thursday 24th of July 2014 – Nerja Caves – National Ballet of Peru – 10pm Ticketed Entrance
Friday 25th of July 2014 – Nerja Caves – Carmen Linares – 10pm Ticketed Entrance
Saturday 26th of July 2014 – Nerja Caves – Diana Navarro – 10pm Ticketed Entrance

This year’s festival (like last year) has been reduced to four performances in the caves themselves, and other changes have been made on the recommendation of the Cave’s Scientific Council, which aims to reduce the environmental impact that this celebration has on this important historic monument.
