Considered one of the best guitarists of his generation, David Martínez from Granada began studying the guitar aged seven. He has studied in Austria at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and also at the Hochschule fur Musik in Munich.
David Martínez has performed all over the world including Germany, Egypt, America, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Cuba, Chile, Siria and Turkey. He recorded his first CD in 2005 in Toronto, Canada, which was distributed by Naxos in more than 50 countries.
He is currently a professor at the Conservatory of Music in Granada, which he combines with his concert performances and teaching at National and International levels.
David Martinez is appearing at the Nerja Cultural Centre on Friday 30th of November.
