The Sala Municipal de Exposiciones de Nerja is hosting an exhibition of the paintings and other works of artist Juan Truco from February 10th to March 2nd.

Juan Truco was born in Madrid in 1949 and studied drama at the Royal School of Dramatic Arts in the capital.  For years he has studied and practiced painting around the world, living in countries as diverse as the USA, India, Iraq and Mexico, as well as in different regions of Spain.  He currently lives in Frigiliana.

During his career he has participated in many painting competitions and has held many exhibitions.

Juan Truco’s current direction is to explore sculpture as a medium and there may be some examples in this exhibition.

The exhibition is open from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm and entry is free
