The Nerja Cultural Centre is privileged to have Javier Garcia Moreno as the star attraction on Friday March 9th.
For his work and tireless concert activity throughout the world, Javier Garcia Moreno is considered by international critics as one of the most prominent and important guitarists of his gerneration. His performance has been praised in many prestigious publications. He has appeared at such prestigious venues as New York’s Carnegie Hall and has acted as a soloist with the Berlin Chamber Orchestra, the Simon Bolivar Orchestra of Caracas, the European Union Chamber Orchestra, the Malaga Philharmonic and the Dublin Philharmonic amongst others. He has given Master Classes at Conservatories and Universities throughout Europe and the United States. His lates cd, Chaconne was awarded a prize.
This evening’s performance includes works by Albeniz, Sor, Tárrega, Turina and Ginastera
