Restaurant El Pulguila Nerja is at the bottom end of Calle Cristo, just a few metres from the Balcon de Europa in the heart of the old town. There is pedestrian access from Calle Cristo but also access from the large car park, Los Huertos de Carabeo at the rear, through the restaurant's large terrace garden.

At the front, El Pulguilla has a large, air-conditioned tapas bar facing onto Calle Cristo with tall tables and barstools and tables outside on the street from April onwards - in this part of the bar all drinks come with a free tapas.

At the back is a very spacious terrace for sit-down dining, covered in the winter months and fully open during the summer. This terrace garden is deservedly popular with locals, and is due to its size can accommodate larger parties of diners.

Specialising in fried fish and fresh seafood, as well as meat dishes, El Pulguilla offers a huge choice to its customers. Popular seafood dishes include swordfish, dorada, sardines, crab and of course squid and shellfish, amongst others. The meat dishes on offer include beef steak, pork fillets and chicken.
