There are actually two Hostal Abrils in Nerja, on adjacent streets (Calle Pintada and Calle Cristo). Both are just a very short walk to the nearest bars and restaurants and both streets end up at the Balcon de Europa (Calle Cristo Hostal Abril is slightly nearer).
There is very little parking in the area, so if you are bringing a car you will either have to search out a free on-street space, or park in the nearby paid carparks on Calle Cruz or on Los Huertos.
