Nerja Ayuntamento has announced which areas will have Christmas illuminations this year. As always the Balcón de Europa will take centre stage along with Plaza Cavana, Plaza Andalucía, Plaza Cantarero and Plaza Ermita. The main roundabouts on the approaches to the town will also have illuminations.
Overall the town hall expects to spend less money on the lights this year, including savings on the electricity used to power them.
