Street Cleared

Nerja council have removed 23 tables and 72 chairs from outside a restaurant in the town that was causing an obstruction to pedestrians. Since July the council have been cracking down on businesses that obstruct the street in this way. Confiscated items can only be recovered once the business concerned has paid any outstanding fines and bills from the council.

Marina Plans Still Not Announced

The Nerja councillor for Infrastructure has complained that six months on from the news that the new Marina would be on the Torrox side of the Nerja/Torrox border, the plans for the new Marina have still not been made public. This will come as no surprise to everyone else as the new marina has already been 25 years in development.
