The Italian sports car company Alfa Romeo have chosen the municipality of Nerja as one of the locations to film an advert for the new Alfa 4C Spider. Filming will take place in the spectacular setting of the coast road in the natural park from Maro towards La Herradura.

The production team will consist of forty five people, including actors and technical staff. Cameras will be installed in the car itself and in different positions on the coast road, along with other camera vehicles.

The filming has been approved by the transport ministry and the car will be travelling at normal speeds on the public road, rather than its 155mph maximum.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider goes on sale in 2015 with a limited global production run of around 3,500 units, expected to be priced slightly higher than the £45,000 Coupe (pictured).

This advert brings to more than 40 the total number of adverts, film and TV programmes filmed in Nerja this year.
