Thirty provinces in Spain are on Orange Alert due to the heatwave caused by a wave of warm Saharan air engulfing the country.

In some parts of Andalucia, the thermometers are set to reach 40ºC and tomorrow in Córdoba, Jaén and Sevilla temperatures of 44ºC are expected.

Here in Nerja over the next few days maximums are forecast of up to 31ºC. Even on Friday and Saturday night temperatures are not expected to drop much below 24ºC.
