Almost two and a half years after they started, the Calle Carabeo roadworks are finally coming to an end, with the completion of the remaining section at the eastern end of the street (by Carabeo beach).
To celebrate its near conclusion and in anticipation of Semana Santa weekend, a brand new beach toilet was delivered by enormous crane to Carabeo beach on an overcast Wednesday afternoon.
Due to technical problems (the crane wasn’t long enough) the new WC didn’t quite make it to the site they had prepared for it on the beach, but at least Carabeo Beach now has a toilet (even if it isn’t plumbed in).
