Nerja Council have agreed with the Asociación Hispano Nórdica to install two new boules courts near to the town’s sports centre.
The new courts will be in addition to the existing courts at Parque Verano Azul and Plaza Cangrejos and will help meet the increasing demand from people who want to take part in this popular sport.
The ground where the courts are going to be built is designated for public social use and the new courts will be available to anyone, not exclusively to the Asociación Hispano Nórdica.
The work will involve flattening the ground, installing the gravel courts and signage.
