Workmen Setting Up The Stage For Tonights New Years Eve Perfomance On The Balcon De Europa Nerja

Preparations are under way for tonight’s New Years Eve party on the Balcon de Europa in Nerja starting at 11pm with a bar, live music and a firework display at midnight. Before then you can go to the many bars and restaurants open in Nerja, although most of the restaurants will only have set gala menus.

Numero Seis on Calle Chaparil has live music provided by The Keys and a hot and cold buffet available from 10pm with a bottle of cava for every couple included in the price of €29.50 per head. La Joya on Los Huertos has a buffet for €15 a head and Sloans on the same street has a 5 course dinner available at €40 per head from 7.30pm. The Jaipur and Haveli Indian restaurants both have their normal a la carte menu available and Murphy’s Irish bar will be open all night, including at 1pm where you can celebrate Irish new year as well.

At midnight practically the whole town will congregate on the Balcon De Europa after which many will go on to the local bars to carry on celebrating until the small hours.
