On the 22nd of March, Spanish rock band Kassia are performing at the Sala La Fabrica in Nerja. The event is part of Kassia’s Rock And Kilo tour the aim of which is to collect food donations for the Food Bank Foundation to help the many Spanish families who are suffering during the financial crisis. As such the entrance price for the concert is 1 Kilo of food to be donated to the charity.
The rock concert will last for three hours and will feature Kassia and a number of other invited artists. The groups make no charge for their performances and the performance space is donated by Nerja council for the event.
Kassia is made up from Fernando H. (Guitar and keyboards), Juan A.Chica (Bass) and Manuel Sanchez (drums) who have been together since 2011. Kassia describe their style as “fresh rock”, with lyrics that try to convey feelings and experiences in a clear and forceful way.
