Seville´s April Feria starts today the 23rd of April and runs until Sunday the 29th.

This week long party started life as a cattle fair in the mid 19th century and has developed into a cross between a funfair and a 24 hour street party, with hundreds of casetas (marquees). Sixteen of the casetas are free to enter.

There are free guided tours of the feria, leaving from the Tourist Information Caseta on calle Pepe Hillo, by the main entrance.

There will be four tours per day (starting Tuesday) at 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm and 6.30pm and places are limited to 25 people.

Seville is around 3 hours from Nerja by car, or you can take the train from Malaga.
