The Costa del Sol Tourist Board has been filming in Frigiliana as part of its latest advertising campaign. The publicity video has been filmed in different parts of the Costa del Sol, showing what the region has to offer to tourists, from the beaches to the whitewashed villages in the mountains.
On Monday the production team came to Frigiliana and filmed in Calle Hernando el Darra one of the many picturesque locations in the centre of the old town. The team has also filmed in Marbella and Malaga city and chose Frigiliana as an example of an Andalucian “pueblo blanco”.
The publicity video will be shown at tourism fairs and other promotional events.
The hillside village of Frigiliana is just a few kilometres north of Nerja and is well worth visiting to take a wander around the narrow streets of whitewashed pueblo houses. The town is around 10 minutes drive from Nerja
