Warm sunshine on January the 4th meant that there were a few people out on the beaches of Nerja, including at Burriana beach. The eastern end of the beach, with the cliff behind it, where this photo was taken, provides a sun-trap which is almost always warm enough to sunbathe. Temperatures reached a high of 18.5ºC in the afternoon, although at night the temperature has been dropping to just 11ºC.
