The Nerja Cultural Centre will host on October the 5th 2012 a gala in aid of the Taller de la Amistad by the group “Locos por los 60”. The group is made up of non-professional musicians who have previously performed here with great success. The show is entitled “Cómo han pasado los años” (How the years have passed) and will begin at 9pm and tickets are six euros.
The show, hosted and directed by Joaquin Diaz, will feature rock and roll and pop music from the 1960s. Proceeds from the show will go to Nerja’s Taller de la Amistad which provides education, training, leisure and other services for disabled residents of Nerja from all age groups and its future has recently been put at risk by lack of funding from the regional government.
