The Insostenible Big Band will be live in concert at the Nerja Cultural Centre on Saturday November the 17th 2012 from 9pm.
The show pays tribute to the great big bands of the 30s, 40s and 50s of the last century, including historical jazz figures such as Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton and Maynard Ferguson. The Malaga group, who have been playing together for seven years, recreate the atmosphere of American jazz clubs.
The combo has the essence of the great big bands and include the usual brass and wind sections, bass, guitar, drums, piano and vocals. This big band has been performing in towns and cities throughout Malaga and other provinces in Andalucia and have performed at the Malaga Jazz Festival, the Cervantes Theatre and the Echegaray Theatre (see video).
