The Maro Feria de las Maravillas (Fair of Wonders) is on this weekend, Friday 6th of September 2013.

Friday 6th of September 2013
Midday – “diana floreada” with Los Tropicales
1pm – Day Feria in the Plaza de la Iglesia with tripe courtesy of the Cueva de Nerja restaurant and dancing from the Christian David dance group.
6pm – Street race starting and finishing at the Plaza de la Iglesia and Placido at the Hogar y Centro Social
9pm – Photos by Francisco Guerrero and Ricardo Pérez. from the 1970s.
10pm – Election of the Feria Queen followed by the verbena with Alalba.
Saturday 7th of September 2013
1pm – Day Feria in the Plaza de la Iglesia with the group “Son del arte” with music and dancing plus paella courtesy of Ayos.
4pm – Horse parade.
7pm – Floral offering to the Virgen de las Maravillas accompanied by the Peña Mareña choir.
8pm – Music and dancing.
Sunday 8th of September 2013
Midday – Mass in honour of the Virgen de las Maravillas with the Peña Mareña choir.
5pm – Plaza de la Iglesia “Son del Arte” and childrens entertainment with Susana Rico.
9pm – Procession of the Virgen de las Maravillas with the Municipal Band and fireworks. There will be music and dancing at the end of the procession, which will carry on in the Caseta Official until the early hours.
