Murphy's Irish Bar Nerja opened in Nerja in 2011, and already has a great reputation amongst locals and toursits alike for its friendly atmosphere and its welcoming owners, Des and Noelle.  There is a usually a good crowd in Murphys Bar any night of the week, with plenty of chat and entertainment.  There is often live music on offer.

Sporting events are shown on the large screen TVs, including GAA football and hurling, Heineken Cup and Magner's League rugby, and selected football games.
