Had a great time at Murphys bar last year it is now owned by Linda & Gary still as friendly as ever even without Des & still showing all the sports would be ideal to watch the Rugby world cup if you are in Nerja at that time .P/s beer is good too.

Cheers Terry for making the secretly powerful mulled wine last night. Myself and the wife had a couple and she blamed your tasty cup for the late dinner! Well done, it was worth it. See you in March, god willing and good luck

Murphy’s will have mince pies on Christmas Eve and you can get a double celebration on New Year’s Eve when Murphys will be toasting Irish New Year at 1am.

Des and Noelle are perfect hosts, thank you both for all the craic and late night music sessions. A special thanks also for the lovely sausage sandwiches and mugs of tea during the early morning World Cup Rugby games. Continued success and see you next time. Salud, slainte & cheers, Jim & Anne.

Spent a few nights in Murphys and took my guitar along on two of the evenings. I met the perfect hosts and a bunch of delightful people with whom to drink in splendid surroundings. I shall return next year with friends. My thanks for your hospitality!

Just back from our first visit to Nerja which was made all the more enjoyable by finding Murphy’s bar. We were given a warm welcome from Des & Noelle each time we called in. The impromptu guitar & harmonica nights were great fun made all the more memorable by Noelle’s Irish Tapas! We would recommend Murphy’s to anyone visiting Nerja. Thanks to both Des & Noelle for making our holiday so enjoyable.

First visit to Murphy’s last week 22nd Sept., ’11 – Celebrating Tipperary All-Ireland Minor Football Win. Lovely bright Bar. Had chat and photographs taken with owner Des and his friend Noel. Will recommend Murphy’s to all my friends and hope to return next year to celebrate Tipperary Double – Hurling and Football. Best wishes to Des and Noelle in your new venture. A Bar to be proud of.
Kind regards, Tony and Margaret Brosnan, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
