Now in its second year here in Nerja, Yogurtropic is in the small square packed with restaurants on the Balcon de Europa selling ice creams and frozen yoghurt.

As well as traditional ice cream in a range of flavours, Yogurtropic offers the healthier option of home made frozen yoghurt with a large variety of toppings of your choice. These include sliced and chopped fresh fruit, nuts and home made fruit sauces as well as children's favourites such as chocolate sauce and sprinkles.

Prices start at €1.50 for a cone or a tub to take away or you can sit down at the tables outside for the same price. Ideal as a treat for the kids while mum and dad have a drink and a tapas or a coffee at one of the many popular restaurants in the square.

Finally for those missing their McShakes and McSundaes, Yogurtropic have a well known alternative brand - Sandy - to which you can add toppings of your choice, saving you a trip to the nearest McDonald's to get your fix.

Yogurtropic is a welcome addition to the traditional ice cream shops on the Balcon de Europa and is well worth seeking out.

To find it, just walk past Cafe Albi, which fronts the Balcon, and you will see it next door to Cafe Centurion.
