UPDATE AUTUMN 2014: Taller de Tapas has now changed hands and is set to re-open under new management. We will update this review as and when the bar re-opens.

A newly opened tapas bar (March 2011) in Nerja which replaces an english owned sports bar. It is unlikely that there will be many people unhappy with the change. Taller de la Tapas, or Tapas Factory if you need an english translation, certainly lives up to its name. With each drink you get a very generously sized tapa, and included in the choices are Pescados Fritos (pieces of mixed fish in batter), paella, patatas pobres and many more.

There is a menu if you wish to eat something more substantial, although a few tapas here might spoil any thought of eating anything anywhere else!

Deservedly popular with locals since it opened it is a must for anyone visiting Nerja. There is a terrace outside the front.
