The episode of the popular British TV series “A Place In The Sun” which was filmed in Nerja in October last year, was broadcast today (Friday 10th of January 2014) on Channel 4 TV.

The show’s presenter Sara Damergi, took recently divorced Rajula Jasani, with a budget of £100,000, to see various properties in the towns around Nerja (although none in Nerja itself), looking for a property with outside space and a pool, for her and her twin sons to use as a holiday property.

The first property they visited was a £117,000 two bedroom flat in Torrox Costa with a large terrace and a communal pool, let down by its location middway between Nerja and Torrox.

Next they moved inland to Torrox pueblo to look at a four bedroom village house ten minutes walk from the town’s main square again at an asking price of £117,000. The recently reformed townhouse has two roof terraces and was bought in 2007 for £150,000.
