Burial of the Sardine Nerja - Entiero del Chanquete 2014This years Sardine took the form of a large birthday cake, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Nerja Carnival, topped by a large Sardine. The cake was paraded through the town, before being carried down to Calahonda beach where it was blown up as the finale of a twilight firework display, marking the end of Nerja Carnival 2014.
