The largest single amount is for the repair work to the road up to Chimenea at Burriana, where a land slide has caused damage that will cost €205,000 to repair.

The access road to Maro beach has also been damaged by land slides (as it was in the last major storm in 2007). Repairs to this road will cost €175,000. The repairs to the wall in the sports centre will cost €125,000.

The council have passed a motion to request financial aid from both the Spanish central government and the regional government of Andalucia. It is estimated that the total cost of the damage throughout the province of Andalucia will be in the tens of millions of euros.
