Saturday March 17th is St Patrick’s Day and there is lots going on in Nerja to help you have a good time.
To begin with there is the Six Nations rugby match between England and Ireland at 6pm. That is bound to get the evening off to an exciting start and the bars are going to be busy right from the start.
Straight after the rugby Numero Seis have live music with Pete Cummins, a singer song writer from Ireland who played with the Fleadh Cowboys in the USA and has toured widely with the Cheiftans. There will be Irish Stew, Irish breakfast and potato cakes available to soak up the beer, and children under 5 eat free.
Murphy’s will also be showing the rugby and have live music from 8pm. Des and Noelle will be offering lots of hospitality as usual and snacks throughout the evening.
The Caeli Bar have their second St Patrick’s Day Festival with a host of artists providing great music, including Georgie T, Robbie Box, The Keys, Manu F, Gunther and the famous drag show from Joan. The bar is open from 4pm and entrance is €8 which includes one drink.
Buddy’s Bar will also be a lively place with DJ Kapt’n Mog’s offering the best tunes and games, Ron’s Irish Stew, and of course the rugby to get things started.
