The new barrier at the entrance to the quarry car park on the Rio Chillar walk is now in operation. The barrier is just past the cement works right next to the large cyprus tree (visible on google maps) . Many people are ignoring the no entry and no parking signs and parking as close as they can get to the river walk, taking the risk of getting a fine (or their vehicles towed away).
