Hello Heidi, I’ve a slightly different idea….what about the donkey sanctuary? I’m sure they could use detergents, and they accept food donations that are suitable for the donkeys?

Hi, we are leaving Nerja after staying here for 2 months and have some food, detergents etc. left. Is there any organisation, that accepts such goods to give to homeless / people in need? Thanks for any tips!

Hi Heidi. There is no organisation that I am aware of that can take food etc. If you leave the stuff in the apartment the cleaners will probably give them a good home though.

I have lived in Nerja for 14 years and during that time Mercadona as it is now has been my main grocery supplier I have always found it the best value for money and Staff very helpful some of the Staff were working in the store on my first visit.Well done!

Can you still physically shop there and have your shopping delivered in Nerja?

They also have online ordering and delivery now which provides an excellent service with a selection of 2 hour delivery slots to choose from

An excellent place ro shop. Very Clean and well organised for easy shopping.
Friendly helpful staff, language is never a barrier.
The car park is easy to access and the free parking time is very generous.
