Lovely little bar. They cook fresh fish tapas & raciones behind the bar where you can see them being cooked. Also meat dishes, and a friendly owner. Definitely recommended as one to try. Prices very reasonable.

Los Pescaitos is a great place. The owner and his two daughters are gracious and the fish is delicious. My wife loves his Calamaritos Plancha. Probably every local bar in town makes them, but Rafael cooks them expertly and puts a bit of olive oil with finely chopped parsley and garlic over them! Uhm! Delicious! I don’t feel we have been overcharged there, and I think most of our favorite local Tapas places have raised prices a bit lately. It’s still very inexpensive to go out for Tapas and wine or beer. I can’t think of any other country where Euros 2 gets you a tasty wine and Tapa!

Only problem is that their prices are not consistent. They overcharge if they think you are a tourist. A glass of house wine and a fish tapa from the plancha usually costs between 1.40 & 1.60 in other bars, but they have charged us between 2 & 2.5o euros for the same thing. They go into a huddle at the till & decide what to charge. The locals wouldn’t pay this, and they have a different price for them. Discrimination is ugly.

Some of the best fresh fish Tapas in Nerja are served here! The place is small and cozy, with fast efficient service. The selection of fish and shellfish is always fresh, and always well prepared. Our favorite Tapas are shrimp grilled to perfection!
