La Puntilla is a restaurant and tapas bar, tucked away in the back streets of Nerja's old town.  There are tables outside on the street where you can choose something from the menu, or you can sit inside at the bar and just have a tapa or maybe a racion.

All drinks (inside or at the two barrells outside) come with a free tapa and you can choose from a variety of fish or meat dishes.  La Puntilla is ideal if you are a fish fan and the place is usually very busy with locals - you need to get there early if you want a table outside during the summer months.

La Puntilla is highly recommended if you want to try somewhere slightly off the tourist track, either for a meal or as part of a tapas trail, with several other good tapas bars also nearby.
