The Teteria de Karabeo is run by the same person who ran the well known Teteria on Calle Carabeo that closed at the end of the 2012 season. The old "Tet" as it was known, was hugely popular and the building was subsequently demolished in early 2013. Because of this the management has had to search for new premises and the newly reborn "Tet" has now re-opened on the other side of town at the back of Plaza Marina (off Calle Castilla Perez).

Whilst the new Tet lacks some of the charm of the old crumbling building, it has a few tables out the front and should re-gain its popularity with the regulars.
