Force4Sailing operate a sleek Bavaria 36 sailing yacht from their base in the marina, where parties of up to six people can go on a three hour (or longer) private cruise along the Costa Tropical and the natural park.The fully RYA qualified skippers Iain and Amanda will tailor your cruise to your requirements, perhaps touring the un-spoilt coastline, dropping anchor in empty coves for a swim in the crystal clear waters of the natural park or letting you have a go at the helm or trim the sails of their 36 foot yacht. Water, soft drinks and light snacks are included in the charter, or you can specify something more luxurious at extra cost if you want to. The German made yacht is fully equipped for a days sailing, with seating in the spacious cockpit and a sunbathing area at the front of the boat. Downstairs there is a toilet, galley and further seating. The yacht has all the necessary safety equipment including life jackets and buoyancy aids for everyone on board and has been certified by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency. The natural park between Maro and La Herradura, to the east of Nerja, is free from development and as a result the water is almost transparent - ideal for swimming and snorkelling with the plentiful fish and if you are lucky dolphins. Snorkels, masks and fins are provided on board or you can bring your own kit if you prefer. PricesThe yacht costs €100 per hour for up to six people, with a minimum hire of 3 hours. Marina del EsteMarina Del Este is a small recreational marina a few miles to the east of Nerja, between La Herradura and Almuñécar. There are a few bars and restaurants in the marina, plus a mini-market and a couple of shops. There is also a small beach just around the corner from the marina with a beach restaurant/bar. The marina itself has parking for berth holders and there are two small car parks for visitors. The marina is less than 30 minutes drive from Nerja.
