The Sala Mercado (just down from the Mercadona supermarket) has been turned into an indoor mini amusement park for children over the Christmas period. As well as a large bouncy castle (plus another smaller one outside) the Sala Mercado has various other attractions to keep small children amused over the holidays if the weather is bad outside.
Opening hours are from 5pm onwards. When the Christmas school holidays start the mini-park will open in the mornings as well. The organisers are the Education and Culture department of Nerja council working with Axarquipark and they claim that prices are reasonable for this type of attraction.
The Sala Mercado is on Plaza de la Ermita on Calle de San Miguel, just down from the Mercadona supermarket.
The building was originally an open air market (Mercado de Abastos) built in the 1950’s, but since then has been converted into an exhibition room.
